" Now at the age of 61, I have been with Higgins Insurance for my vehicles and house insurance for, I think, the past seven or eight years. When I had a camper trailer, it was also insured through Higgins. In earlier years, I was with the same ‘local’ Fredericton agent for several years when I discovered that I could get substantially less expensive rates from a ‘private’ insurance company that serves exclusive ‘groups’ affiliated with Alumni’s and such. Through my affiliation with the New Brunswick Police Association, I had the opportunity to meet Higgins representative ‘Robert Keays’. Prior to the due dates for the insurance policies that I had, I received a quote from Higgins Insurance for my two vehicles, my home and my travel trailer. The insurance coverage that I was quoted, was either equal to what I already had or in some cases much better. This was obviously not the case. What I found especially important, was the personal service that I received from the Higgins staff. No more getting voice mail and number prompts when I called regarding my insurance policies. With Higgins, my phone call is always answered by a staff member and my call is always promptly directed to the correct person for me to speak with regarding my policies. During renewal time, I can always trust Higgins Insurance to provide me with the best rates without having to negotiate every year. Costed in with my car insurance is the ‘forgivable accident’ clause. For just pennies a day, I have the assurance that my rates will not increase should I be unfortunate enough to have an accident. When it comes to my home insurance, I find that the Higgins staff always keep me apprised of what coverage I should have, leaving no surprizes should a disaster occur. Since being with Higgins Insurance, many of my friends have switched to Higgins after they have done cost comparisons. Most recently, my daughter and son-in-law have switched over to Higgins Insurance. With the Higgins Insurance office situated in Rothesay, New Brunswick, they are as close as a phone call away with their convenient toll free number. I did have a damage claim when I owned my travel trailer and I can truly say that the matter was handled promptly and professionally. "
